Due to the impact of Typhoon Bavi, the wind speed measured at the North Breakwater of the Port of Taichung has reached the port's traffic control threshold (Beaufort Force 8, 17.2–20.7 m/s). Therefore, all vessel inbound and outbound navigation operations at the Port of Taichung are suspended effective from 13:30 on 10 July 2026.
