Due to the impact of Typhoon CHAMPI , the wind speed measured at the North Breakwater of the Port of Taichung has reached the port's traffic control threshold (Beaufort Force 8, 17.2–20.7 m/s). Therefore, all vessel inbound and outbound navigation operations at the Port of Taichung are suspended effective from 16:00 on 22th OCT 2026.
